    Equine Interactions

The healing power of nature and human-animal interactions are
    invaluable enhancements to facilitating change.

When horses are part of your counseling or consultation session, new ways of engaging in the relational and learning process come into view. The warmth, gentleness, and curiosity of the horse, along with a more relaxing and natural environment, can greatly enhance your experience. Equine interactions as part of your session add motivation and help you ease into the process of improving relationships, increasing awareness, and your overall healing.

You do not need prior experience with horses to benefit from equine interactions.

In fact, many clients have never interacted with a horse before their first session. The safety and comfort of both you and the horse are a priority. Rebecca completed an extensive post-master’s program in Equine-Assisted Mental Health at University of Denver and brings considerable expertise to work in this setting. For therapy clients, Rebecca uniquely offers EquiLateral Equine-Assisted Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to optimize treatment results. As an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning (ESMHL), Megan integrates her clinical skills and education through PATH Intl. to offer clients a unique healing experience. Please request Megan or Rebecca through our connect with us page if you are interested in learning more.

It is normal to have questions and we are here to answer them.
